Term 3 has begun and we are really enjoying our gardens. The flowers on the Junior side have colourful flowers on them.           The vegetables on the Senior side have grown so big they are now ready for us to pick and cook over the next 2 weeks. We will be cooking Curly Kale chips, Stir fry chicken with Pak Choi and Celery, and Pizzas with Spinach and Silverbeet.

Term 2 Seniors Planting Vegetables

In Term 2 the Meadowbank School concept has been Enterprise. The ESOL students have been creating their own gardens - a flower garden on the Junior site and a vegetable garden on the Senior site. Years 4-6 After we prepared the garden by weeding it, we planted our vegetables - silverbeet, spinach, celery and broad beans.
