Garden Sign Complete

Our ESOL Garden sign has just been put up. Take a look. Our vegetables are also growing and we are looking at recipes so we can cook them.      

Juniors Learning About Snails

The Junior ESOL students were studying snails this week. We  collected some snails from the garden, examined them carefully using magnifying glasses, read a book about them and then drew diagrams of them and labelled their parts.

Term 2 Seniors Planting Vegetables

In Term 2 the Meadowbank School concept has been Enterprise. The ESOL students have been creating their own gardens - a flower garden on the Junior site and a vegetable garden on the Senior site. Years 4-6 After we prepared the garden by weeding it, we planted our vegetables - silverbeet, spinach, celery and broad beans.

Term 2 Year 3's Planting Vegetables

In Term 2 the Meadowbank School concept has been Enterprise. The ESOL students have been creating their own gardens - a flower garden on the Junior site and a vegetable garden on the Senior site. YEAR 3's First we had to prepare the garden for planting by taking out the weeds. Then we planted our vegetable plants - Curly Kale and Pak Choi Cabbage.
